Every Shikar tent begins in Rajasthan, handcrafted by artisans working the same way they have for generations, just skill passed down through calloused hands. What arrives on site is raised by our own crew, so guests get somewhere to properly unwind that has been built to last much longer than a weekend.
Originally commissioned for the world’s most iconic Festival, Shikar tents are a signature feature of any Camp Kerala experience. They can also be integrated within private events such as weddings and celebrations.

The interiors are expansive and insulated, cool when needed and warm when required and draped in textiles that have been gathered, curated and placed with care.
Pleasure is in the detail: sheepskin rugs, fresh flowers, a king-size bed, duck-down duvets and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets. Our signature is on the walls, where we have hand-sewn over 2,000 tiny circular mirrors and hand-painted stars into the interior lining, so you drift off with stars watching over you.
